New Steam Games with Native Linux Builds, including Corpus and Spiritus, and Hot Wax - 2026-11-04 Edition
Between 2026-10-28 and 2026-11-04 there were 248 New Steam games released with Native Linux builds. For reference, during the same time, there were 1931 games released for Windows on Steam, so the Linux versions represent about 12.8 % of total released titles.
This is a massive amount of new games on Steam in just a single week! No wonder Valve is sweating and considering how to fix their games introduction process under this avalanche of news.
This week there is a lot of roguelite and deckbuilders and out of the lot, there’s Corpus and Spiritus which is a new take on the genre: no health bars, just you fighting a daemon that keeps raising the stakes.

There’s also Hot Wax that is a clever take on what looks like Tetris but really isn’t.
CARDSHARP
Released on 4 Nov, 2026, developed by Zandbox Studio Games, self-published. [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Action, Indie, Strategy
About the game: Blackjack in a dark room. Solo or with friends. Win the hand and you get paid; lose it and the dealer takes a finger. Rob the other players, burn the card they were saving, push cursed items on them.
Steam Reviews Summary: Only few reviews are available, and every single one is positive. Players are blown away by the experience: one reviewer beat the dealer first try with one finger and called it “GENUINLY PEAK,” another said they couldn’t stop playing after just a little time and expectations were “far surpassed.” The dark-room aesthetic, the finger-loss mechanic, and the ability to mess with other players through items like zip poo lighter, cursed ring, and Romeo & Juliette’s ring all come across as satisfying and tense. The game is described as simple to pick up but still strategic, with a fair bit of luck involved. Minor gripe: the small player base can lead to wait times in online matches. All reviewers highly recommend it and praise the variety of content and modes added over time. Works well on Steam Deck.
STACK & BREW
Released on 4 Nov, 2026, developed by BODOS and published by Rock Paper Publisher, . [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Casual, Indie, Early Access
About the game: Stack & Brew is a management simulation game where you brew potions and run your own shop. Craft the potions and magical items your customers request, deliver them on time, collect your earnings, level up, expand your business, and take on bosses!
Steam Reviews Summary: all positive reviews so far. The game blends shop management and card-merging mechanics into a genuinely satisfying loop. Reviewers love the “just one more run” feeling: brewing potions, juggling weird customers, and facing looming boss orders feels both relaxing and chaotic. The card stacking system adds a unique twist on familiar shop genres, with card animations and a cat visitor being specifically praised. Some reviewers noted that automation helps reduce operation volume, though slow card movement can still be nerve-wracking. A few suggestions: the UI could be more mouse-friendly (auto-downgrade modifiers via right-click would help), and clearer in-game info about bonuses and DPS would streamline things. Overall, highly addictive, charming art style, and easy to get into. Great value for the price. Works well on Steam Deck.
SLOTS & SKULLS
Released on 4 Nov, 2026, developed by Trina Interactive, self-published. [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Indie, RPG, Strategy
About the game: A turn-based roguelite built on a slot machine. Stop the machine to attack, win fights for chests, and upgrade what drops at the forge (if you dare). Or invite a friend and fight them.
Steam Reviews Summary: few reviews but all positive. Slots & Skulls is a standout roguelite where your weapon is a slot machine — 112 different symbols, modifiers, cat pacts, and single-use abilities create deep build variety and intense risk/reward. The forge mechanic (upgrading symbols from +0 to +10 with possible total loss on failure) is called out as “amazing” and genuinely keeps you on edge. Players compare it favorably to Slots & Daggers but note it has more features and replayability, especially with 1v1 online/local duels adding competitive depth. One reviewer flagged that balance can feel too low at times: some builds make the game feel nearly too easy. The pixel art and dark fantasy enemies are widely praised. The shop chart showing exact purchase impacts is appreciated for transparency. Mouse controls for modifier selection could be streamlined. Feels like a complete, polished game at a very reasonable price. Works well on Steam Deck.
BIBIDI BIBIDI!
Released on 4 Nov, 2026, developed by Indiana-Jonas, , self-published. [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Indie, Strategy
About the game: Bibidi Bibidi! is a whimsical deckbuilder where your wizard shouts whatever spell you conjure up. Every card has 3 components that you combine in your spellbook for unique effects. Mix and match incantations like sim-sala-bim and abra-kadabra to zap your way through a dungeon filled with monsters.
Steam Reviews Summary: Few reviews, but all positive. Bibidi Bibidi! offers a unique deckbuilder experience where combining cards into spells creates every-turn puzzles and deep strategic possibilities. The whimsical art style, soundtrack, and wizard-shouting concept are consistently praised as charming and fun. However, there are some notable gripes: only one main pathway through the game with the same bosses, so replayability drops off once you’ve beaten the final boss; boss difficulty spikes feel at odds with the cute art and vibe; one reviewer refunded because all spell animations used the same visual effects and damage mechanics felt off; another noted it’s not newbie-friendly for card placement decisions. A couple of bugs were mentioned too (a tooltip blocking a victory dialogue). Despite these, the charm and unique mechanics win people over. Several reviewers called it a steal at the price and a must-try for deckbuilder fans. Works well on Steam Deck.
ASTRA BESTIARY
Released on 3 Nov, 2026, developed by Bicho Feo, self-published. [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Adventure, RPG, Simulation
About the game: Raise Beasts from eggs into powerful Champions in this 2D monster-raising/taming RPG. Feed, train and evolve your partners to explore a perilous, non-linear world. Master fast-paced, tactical battles, uncover the secrets of a fading world and pass on the Beasts’ legacy across generations.
Steam Reviews Summary: Few reviews, but all positive. Astra Bestiary is hailed as one of the best creature-tamers in years: the bond and caretaking focus really sells it, with training directly unlocking moves needed for tactical battles. The attack-countering mechanic in combat gives every turn real weight, and players appreciate that preparation feels earned rather than just spamming high-damage skills. Over 150 fully animated beasts with branching evolution paths and no level system (stats you train in your companion drive their growth) stand out as particularly strong points. The relaxing soundtrack and dark/fantasy world exploration add atmosphere. A few reviewers noted the story can feel vague at times, but even they stay engaged through the monster raising and battles alone, one likened it to older Digimon games where you genuinely care about your creatures. Demo saves carry over into the full game, which was appreciated. Works well on Steam Deck.
CROWN & COIN: THE HUNDRED YEARS
Released on 3 Nov, 2026, developed by MUZINA GAMES, self-published. [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Indie, RPG, Simulation, Strategy
About the game: Survive the Hundred Years’ War in this medieval ensemble sandbox. Play as 1,015 historical figures, from Joan of Arc to the imposter des Armoises. Gain glory as a knight, forge a new kingdom to crush England and France, or thrive as a bandit. Discover 22 tarot-based multiple endings!
Steam Reviews Summary: Most players read it as “Taishou Nihiden of the Hundred Years’ War” and that framing does a lot of the heavy lifting: fans of Taishou Nihiden or Romance of the Three Kingdoms come away recommending it, praising the 1,000+ real historical figures, the illustrated historical event readouts that teach you the era as you play, and the sheer variety of life paths from knight to lord to king, merchant, clergyman, blacksmith, farmer, doctor, bandit and bard, with lots of endings to chase. The developer is shipping updates fast and small thoughtful touches (colorblind options, skip features, a helpful in-game guide) are noticed. The big gripes: it’s raw Early Access, and the “bonds” collection loop that gates content (raise affinity with lots of NPCs, then buy and gift presents to unlock scenarios) feels like a long grind, escort quests tick through day by day and drag, the UI is confusing in spots (town names missing on the map, overlapping messages, clunky character selection), several reviewers hit black/garbled screen bugs, and some note the AI-generated art tells. A few also question the price for the current content volume. Expect to be a fan of the genre to get the most out of it right now.
CORPUS ET SPIRITUS
Released on 3 Nov, 2026, developed by Arpentor Studio and published by Firesquid, . [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Indie, Strategy
About the game: Corpus et Spiritus is an alchemy deckbuilder, where you must break free of a demonic pact… before your partner kills you. Gather rare metals, then use your workshop to transform them into powerful cards and magical talismans, forming combos that will save your body, spirit and soul!
Steam Reviews Summary: unanimously positive so far, with reviewers calling it a genuinely fresh take on the roguelike deckbuilder: there is no combat and no enemy health bar, just you and your alchemy lab outlasting a homunculus that keeps raising the stakes. The metal gathering to card crafting loop is a hit, combos of cards and talismans build into satisfying decks, and the easy-to-learn, hard-to-master curve plus Hades-style selectable difficulty modifiers keep runs varied. The alchemist workshop art direction, the charming little homunculus, and a thorough onboarding that takes its time explaining the systems all get called out, and the “one more run” pull is real. Criticisms are minor: a couple of small non-breaking bugs, slightly slow animations, the sheer number of levers can overwhelm on the turn, and some feel the content thins out once everything is unlocked, so they are hoping for more story content or modes. Great value for the price.
HOW EMPIRES WORK
Released on 3 Nov, 2026, developed by Crow Cottage, self-published. [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Casual, Indie, Simulation, Strategy
About the game: An incremental grand strategy game about building the machinery of empire. Tax, trade, conquer, and civilise subjects and foreigners alike. Automate it all into institutions that run themselves across centuries of history. Her Imperial Majesty expects results.
Steam Reviews Summary: reviews keep landing on “clicker meets Europa Universalis” and the consensus is that the comparison is earned. Players that never thought they would like an idle game are hooked by the automation and the surprisingly deep tech tree and city management, with the constant “just automate one more thing” itch described as the core appeal. It is also praised for quietly teaching how empires actually worked: the soldiers cost money, you need more money, so conquer, now you need more soldiers loop mirrors what historical rulers faced. The cute art style, relaxing music, and the humor of serving an exacting queen are recurring favorites. Being early, there are bugs, the trade system and a few mechanics are confusing, the UI needs polish, and some balance work is needed, though several note the developer is patching issues quickly. Good value at the price, and reviewers suggest it has room to get even better.
TILES OF GRIMMWOODS
Released on 30 Oct, 2026, developed by ArchLevel, self-published. [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Indie, Strategy
About the game: Every tile you place in this strategic roguelike deck-builder shapes the story of lost kids trying to escape the twisted depths of the Grimmwoods. Outsmart lurking creatures, lay down paths with powerful items, and upgrade your deck to survive a forest that shifts with every step.
Steam Reviews Summary: all positive so far, and players are impressed by how new the core loop feels: placing tetris-style tiles to trigger effects that hit both you and enemies is called clever, cozy and almost puzzle-game-like, while the twisted Brothers Grimm fairy tale theme (bosses tie back to classic stories) and the spooky-but-comfy atmosphere land well, along with a sound design that is quiet, clean and never repetitive. It is described as relaxed and accessible for players newer to roguelikes, though a couple note it can be unforgiving when every ability counts. On Steam Deck it works, but one reviewer found it playable with a lack of proper controller support and a UI that is a bit small, and another would love bigger fonts and full controller support to play it wrapped in a blanket.
FIVE SIGNALS
Released on 30 Oct, 2026, developed by Dark Games DGG, and published by Dark Games DGG. [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Action, Adventure, Indie
About the game: Your wife is dead, but you can hear her voice on the phone. Follow the coordinates, explore abandoned locations, answer calls from the phone booth, and make your way deeper and deeper into the abyss. Every new call brings you closer to the truth… but you may not be ready to hear it.
Steam Reviews Summary: a solidly positive reception (the review base is heavily Russian-speaking) for a slow-burn, atmospheric story horror: walking through abandoned locations, hunting down phone booths, and listening to your dead wife’s voice builds dread more than cheap scares, and reviewers highlight the sound design, the dark moody visuals (the skies get singled out), and the strong voice acting, with a few noting how the flashlight and camera lag details add real immersion. Jumpscares are sparse, which plays to the game: they hit when you least expect them, and several say even their kids asked for more after getting scared. The main criticisms are that the puzzles on the easy side for puzzle game fans, it can be unclear where to go next, the experience is short (roughly 2 to 4 hours, a one-evening horror), and one person reported sound settings resetting when minimizing the game. Treated as a cheap, well-made atmospheric horror for a night, it is generally considered worth it.
FOOD FOR FAIRIES
Released on 30 Oct, 2026, developed by Ankkalab, self-published. [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Casual
About the game: Food for Fairies is a small point and click adventure, where you go forth as a diminutive fairy in preparation for a dinner party celebrating the end of summer.
Steam Reviews Summary: Only a handful of reviews so far, but every single one of them is positive. Players call it a cute, cozy little game with beautiful art and a soothing forest atmosphere that makes you want to just walk around and look at things. A few note it’s basically a hidden object game more than a real point and click, since there’s no hotspot highlighting, no running, and you can’t double-click arrows to teleport, which makes it a bit longer than it needs to be. The writing is witty and the story is thin, but that’s not really the point. The most common wish is that it was longer, and one reviewer mentions beating the game unlocks an “Early Days” option with early character sketches.
TATOMIC
Released on 29 Oct, 2026, developed by nitzan.games LLC, self-published. [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Action
About the game: Drop linked atoms, build color chains to critical mass, and ignite spectacular combos in a kinetic falling-block puzzle game with 30 escalating levels. Three gameplay modes: Critical Mass, Radioactive Survival, and Puzzle.
Steam Reviews Summary: All reviews are positive so far. Reviewers love the chain reaction mechanic, where clearing one chain can drop pieces around it and kick off a whole cascade, and the visual of a reaction traveling atom by atom down a chain is described as extremely satisfying. The landing preview and visible upcoming pieces are called a quality of life win. There’s a short learning curve since each color needs a different amount to react, and a couple people asked for a bit more explanation on how to set up good cascades. The music gets a lot of praise, and one reviewer found the screen shake and flashes a bit much by default, though those can be toned down. People also asked for an expanded puzzle pack.
E-FILES
Released on 29 Oct, 2026, developed by ACID TERROR STUDIO and published by SQRT Games. [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Action, Adventure, Indie
About the game: E-FILES — a psychological horror game in the style of the PS1 era, centered around a secret investigation, rituals, and the mysterious “Lists.” Explore dark locations, search for clues, solve puzzles, and avoid deadly traps. Fixed camera angles, retro graphics, and limited saves.
Steam Reviews Summary: All reviews are positive so far. The PS1 era atmosphere, grimy visuals and soundtrack are the big draw, and the fake streaming chat on the side of the screen is singled out as a standout feature, with reviewers saying it gives the game a ton of personality. The maniac you’re hiding from is described as genuinely scary, and outlasting him on a timer gets a few mentions. The most consistent gripes are the controls and fixed cameras: tank controls, whip pans, and spike and chainsaw traps that are hard to judge in third person push some people into first person just to get through. Jumping and platforming can also break the mood. It’s short enough for a single evening, and several reviewers (a number of them in Russian) say it’s good value for the price and clearly inspired by Puppet Combo.
CHECKMAGE!
Released on 29 Oct, 2026, developed by posshydra, self-published. [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Casual, Indie, RPG, Strategy
About the game: An adventure game with chess-themed deckbuilding battles. Build your strategy by trading cards and battling lovable, hand-drawn characters.
Steam Reviews Summary: All reviews are positive at the moment. Reviewers describe it as charming and oozing with personality, with hand-drawn art, a great soundtrack and a cast of lovable, funny characters (Rowan, Melvin and Mike get repeated shoutouts). The chess deckbuilding core is called one of the best implementations of the mix, and non chess players say it’s still very approachable since you don’t need to know chess to have fun. There’s a lot of secret hunting and exploration between matches, and losing a match carries no real penalty other than rebuilding your deck. A few reviewers played it on Steam Deck and it works fine, though one noted the audio is quiet on the Deck speakers, the on-screen keyboard shortcut isn’t obvious, and holding the left stick to run is awkward to remap in-game.
HOT WAX
Released on 29 Oct, 2026, developed by PUNKCAKE Delicieux, self-published. [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Indie
About the game: Place candles. Light a wick. Burn it all down. Hot Wax is a fresh new take on classic falling block puzzlers, where creating chain reactions is key to performing successful incantations. The temple and its eldritch resident await you, eagerly.
Steam Reviews Summary: All reviews are positive until now. The near universal take is that it’s a genuinely fresh take on falling blocks, not a Tetris clone. Your Tetris muscle memory actively works against you here, since the fire needs empty space to spread and packing pieces tight can be a mistake. Once that clicks, watching a big chain burn down is described as incredibly satisfying, and the synthwave music and colorful presentation get a lot of love. There are multiple modes and a good number of unlockable palettes. On the Steam Deck it works great, and one reviewer points out it’s officially Deck Verified. The only recurring nitpick is the lack of in-game rebinding for confirm and cancel, which one player had to fix through Steam Input.
CROAKSPIRE
Released on 29 Oct, 2026, developed by Lotus Wave Arcade, self-published. [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Action, Adventure, Indie
About the game: Dive into a fortress labyrinth crawling with monsters, defending yourself with your… tongue? As a frog, it’s your best bet to traverse this retro-inspired 2D metroidvania title.Collect treasures to gain permanent upgrades, discovering new areas of the massive interconnected map with them!
Steam Reviews Summary: All reviews are positive so far. It’s essentially a Frog Castlevania, and fans of Symphony of the Night and Bloodstained say it scratches that Itchy Igavania itch well. The movement is fast and feels great once you pick up the later upgrades, the enemy and boss variety is high, and there’s a big palette and costume collection to chase. The base difficulty is easy, which most people don’t mind, and an Expert mode unlocks after you beat the game. The most common gripes are a lack of modern quality of life: no map markers you can pin, no bestiary, few fast travel points, no autosave, and the fullscreen setting doesn’t stick between sessions. One reviewer flagged the third boss as a difficulty spike, and a couple said the music is just okay.
10 MINUTES TO MAKE A MILLION
Released on 28 Oct, 2026, developed by sadrda, self-published. [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Casual, Indie, RPG, Simulation, Strategy
About the game: You have 10 minutes to make $1,000,000. Pick a character, draft three businesses, then hustle, invest or gamble your way there before the timer hits zero. A roguelike economy game where the playstyle is yours and the clock is not.

Steam Reviews Summary: Only a few reviews so far, yet all positive. Reviewers call the potential combinations of characters, buildings and upgrades hugely creative, with one calling it the best indie game they’ve played in a while. The hand-drawn MS Paint style art splits people a bit, with a couple saying it grew on them and was charming once they got into it. It’s short, one reviewer got all the achievements in about 5 hours, and a couple found it a bit too easy. The horse gambling is a sore spot for more than one person. All of them say it’s worth the price as a quick pick up between bigger games.
INTERGALACTIC PUZZLE TOUCHDOWN
Released on 28 Oct, 2026, developed by NEST Interactive, self-published. [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Casual, Indie, Sports
About the game: Intergalactic Puzzle Touchdown is a first-of-its-kind asymmetric turn-based PvP puzzle game fusing the familiar mechanics of classic match-3 games with the excitement of gridiron football. Match tiles to earn yards, dodge your opponent’s blockers, and create Big Play to light up the scoreboard!

Steam Reviews Summary: All reviews are positive right now. The core match-3 meets American football concept is called a genuinely unique take on the versus puzzle genre, and the offensive versus defensive turns are the standout feature. The Big Play wheel, fumbles, field goal timing mini game and random penalties add a chaotic, risk versus reward flavor that some people find a bit too luck based for serious play, but most agree that randomness is part of the charm and keeps matches tense. The four teams each have fun abilities, the cast and announcer cutscenes are silly and well liked, and the music goes way harder than expected. Online matchmaking, local play and a decent CPU are all there, and at the price it’s considered a steal.
THE CHARITY SHOP
Released on 28 Oct, 2026, developed by Figglewatts, self-published. [Steam Store Page]
Genre: Adventure
About the game: The Charity Shop is an atmospheric, surreal puzzle game where you use your camera to capture the essence of a life lived. To this end, you have been delivered to The Charity Shop, a place where people donate unwanted belongings—each carrying an imprint of the time they once shared.
Steam Reviews Summary: Only a couple of reviews so far, but it’s all positive. It’s a short but sweet first person exploration and puzzle game, and the writing is the thing people remember most. Reviewers say it handles themes of death, possessions and letting go in a very compassionate and introspective way, with a few noting it captures that eerie feeling you get in a real charity shop. The atmosphere is surreal and a bit eerie without any jump scares, and the puzzles are described as just hard enough to be satisfying without being frustrating. Everyone who reviewed it said it was worth picking up.
