Between 2024-07-24 and 2024-07-31 there were 41 New Steam games released with Native Linux clients. For reference, during the same time, there were 381 games released for Windows on Steam, so the Linux versions represent about 10.8 % of total released titles. This is a very good week. Lots of great titles, including some of them available for Free!

The highlight though is 7 Days to Die that is finally out of Early Access with a 1.0 release. If you have lived under a rock and never heard of this game, this is a first-person zombie survival game which features crafting mechanics. It has a huge following and could probably have stayed in EA forever.

I should mention Hollow Survivors: Prologue as well, which seems excellent and since it’s free, it’s a great opportunity to try it out before the full game releases in Q4 2024.
