User Registrations are Now Open

In order to make it less of a pain for regular readers of BoilingSteam to comment on articles, we have finally opened the user registrations. Now, once you are logged in, you will be able to comment on any article without having to provide any user name or email address. Hopefully that should make things a little more friendly, and encourage participation!

To register you can follow the User Registration link on the right hand side, and you only need to provide a username, email and password to register. You will then receive a first email asking you to confirm your email address – follow that link, and then you are officially registered, and you can log in at that point. You will receive a second email confirming your registration too.

Let us know if you have questions or comments!

hello 🙂

Great! However the password validity test seems broken. It refused “1}joXJZ:[15rc`9p`PRx,MacR” stating that “the password strength must be medium”.

It worked this time, but I used a different password :).
