Between 2026-08-08 and 2026-08-15 we selected 6 newly released games that are rated as Verified or Playable on the Steam Deck, and meeting specific criteria in terms of user ratings. No huge release but a lot of nice smaller games that make it for the end of the summer. I’d like to highlight Servant of the Lake, a new entry in the Rusty Lake series, with great puzzles and packing a good story and upgraded visuals. And there’s also Sandustry that takes the concept of Noita with pixel-based physics and adds automation on top of it.

Reviews Summary: Very Positive overall with strong Delta Force nostalgia. Players enjoy sandbox tactical missions, equipment choice, time-of-day selection and co-op potential. Common complaints: AI inconsistency with enemies sometimes seeing through grass/cover or one-shot at long range while on Easy they can be brain-dead. Stealth feels uneven. Bugs such as missing HUD for joining friends, weapons disappearing from inventory, invisible map cut-offs and performance hitches are reported. Some miss iron sights/pistol ADS.
