If you had just started playing Mad Max, I got bad news for you: Feral has just announced that they are going to release their next port in just 2 weeks, Deus Ex Mankind Divided, on November 3rd. Yeah, the output of Feral Interactive this year has been completely crazy (Tomb Raider 2013, Life is Strange, Mad Max, Dawn of War II in a relatively short span of time) and if you were wondering like me how they manage to do that, well Eddie could share the following on Reddit:
We don’t really go into specifics of how our Linux magicians(?) work but in general projects are all separate streams so sometimes you might have a longer time between releases sometimes a shorter one depending on how the individual projects progress.
In this case you’re getting a double dose of AAA Linux gaming in short succession.
That’s really impressive by any standard (especially compared to the output of other Linux/Mac porting companies) and it’s not going to be the end for 2016 yet, since there’s still supposed to be Warhammer Total War in the plans.
Anyway, very, very good news.
