10 New Games You Can Play With Proton Since Dec. 2020

By

Back to normal which a bunch of new titles after a rather quiet November month with very few new titles tested on ProtonDB.

As usual, we look at the latest data dumps from ProtonDB to give you a quick list of new games that work (pretty much?) perfectly with Proton since December 2020 - the Median rating indicates that games work either out of the box (5) or well enough with tweaks (4):

RankTitlenMedian Rating
1Phoenix Point: Year One Edition224
2Suzerain64.5
3Sam & Max Save the World65
4OMORI55
5Leaf Blower Revolution - Idle Game54
6HIVESWAP: ACT 245
7TheDawn45
8Alba: A Wildlife Adventure35
9Drawn to Life: Two Realms35
10John Wick Hex35

Phoenix Point is a new game from the original developers of XCOM, but set in a different universe:

Suzerain takes you to the head of the state and lets you take decisions on how to steer government and handle your citizens.

Sam & Max Save the World is apparently a remaster of the 2007 game, using more modern graphics and remastered audio too.

Omori seems to be a very strange game, somewhere in between Undertale in the graphics style and a horror game.

Leaf Blower lets you… blow leaves I guess?

TheDawn is a free to play title, made in Korea, using a third person viewpoint and hordes of robots to shoot down:

I have heard of Alba before, and it looks like a really cute game where you explore an island and interact with animals.

Drawn to Life is a sequel to the popular series that started on DS, where you draw your hero and weapons before entering the typical platform modes.

Keanu is back! On top of starring in Cyberpunk 2077, he’s also in John Wick Hex Game. A turn-based game using time as the main resource to deal with opponents in your way.

Of course, Cyberpunk 2077 should have been in this list, but since the game is more or less broken on Nvidia, it’s only playable if you are on AMD. For now.
