Dawn of War III Probably Coming to Linux

As spotted on SteamDB, the latest episode of the Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War series, seems to get a port to our platform at some point. Based on the following screenshot, there is clearly a port in the works for Mac and Linux.

And while there was been no official announcement anywhere yet, there are clear indications that Feral is involved – the usual suspects!

There are some times when whatever information comes on SteamDB is ambiguous, but this time it seems pretty clear that it’s an actual port, and the fact that Feral would be involved is not surprising at all since they have already ported Dawn of War 2 to our platform in the past year.

We can probably expect the port to hit the shelves relatively soon (my guess is, give it a month or two?), as Feral has been focusing on getting ports closer to the Windows release windows (in order to maximize the sales on other platforms). I guess we will just have to wait for the official news, and hope for cross-platform multiplayer this time around.
