Just before Christmas, Valve and their partners have crossed a new milestone with 7000 games (Verified and Playable) on the Steam Deck! This time we have:
- 2690 Verified Games (38%)
- 4371 Playable Games (62%)
For a total of 7061 games in both categories.
Evolution over time
The evolution of validated games has been fairly linear over the past few months:
I expected the total number of games before the end of the year to be between 7000 and 8000 and we are on track, while much closer to 7000 than 8000.

The decrease that we had observed before has since them mostly stabilized at around 25% of verified games for all validated games.
Note that there are many games that used to be Verified, end up losing their status (for example EA games because of recent changes on the EA Launcher).
