Many of you know that CodeWeavers has been working for now more than a year on DirextX11 implementation – we had more details about that in an interview with James Ramey, CEO of CodeWeavers, earlier this year on BoilingSteam. Work is obviously still ongoing and while they had expected to have DX11 support integrated by the end of 2015, it is likely to take a little longer. However, I have just received direct news a few hours ago from CodeWeavers that 2 Direct 11 games have now been successfully run using their latest internal builds – so progress is very real and there could be some tangible implications very, very soon.
